I have just watched it and they were fantastic. Check it out and see how Carl responds to being called a Village Idiot, what he does to make his vegetables grow and hear some of his worst / best jokes, some of which might be used in next years panto script … or perhaps not.

Hooked on Gaming

Michael Fox, last seen on our stage this year as Captain Hook in Peter Pan is spending a day playing computer games.15994414_10158218805845121_1237764700847905971_o

That may not sound a tough task but he is doing it for 24 HOURS, non stop and is raising money for Cancer Research along the way.

It is also being streamed live so you can watch his progress – click here to watch –

On April 29th he’ll be gaming like a boss to help raise money and level-up Stand Up To Cancer’s life-saving research

It doesn’t matter what they’re playing so long as they’re playing! Suggestions are always welcome and they might even be able to get you guys joining in!

This epic research takes breakthroughs in the lab transforming them into treatments and cures like a cancer drug that acts as a ‘freeze ray’ and a way of making cancer cells self-destruct.

If you can’t sponsor that’s fine, spreading the word in this case would be wonderful and awareness for this cause is always needed.

Dontating is easy – click here –

So Turn on, Tune in and let’s help make Cancer a thing of the past!

CANCER RESEARCH – Making and testing new breakthrough drugs and tests, and finding out which patients are likely to benefit from them requires a lot of expertise. By donating to Stand Up To Cancer in support of Cancer Research UK, you’ll help us turn incredible ideas in the lab into awesome new treatments for patients faster.

It’s a fight that involves all of us, everyone, everywhere. We are sharing knowledge and taking diabetes on together.

The stage is put away, costumes are washed, the lights are powered down and the actors and crew are finally able to relax. It has been a tough year with the loss of Kate, but we hope that we have done her proud.

Oh What a Big One (Opening Night)

panWell, as first nights go that was pretty special. One of the busiest opening nights in recent times, the cast were on top form and the audience left with a song in their hearts … in some cases a chorus of “Oh, Wtinkhat a Big One!” could be heard in the car park afterwards.

Tickets are still available for Saturday 2pm and 7.15pm so if you haven’t got yours yet, get them soon as they are selling fast.
lost2This year guests are also able to take advantage of a licensed bar, ice cream, fresh coffee and cakes in the new coffee shop area.tiger

We also have a special glossy souvenir programme to mark our 30th Show and also to pay tribute to Kate Lovegrove.

So, well done all the cast and crew. A fantastic start to the run.
