A Knight to Remember.

Only 54 days until curtain up on Norton Theatre Group’s production of Camelot. Rehearsals are going fabulously well, and it looks like it’s going to be another hilarious production, partly due to the wonderfully funny script by our very own Chris Bennion, but mainly down to the hugely talented cast we have this year. We are so happy that many of cast members from previous years are returning along with a number new faces. We cannot wait to show you around Camelot. It’s such a silly place.

Camelot is the tale of the heroic King Arthur and his trusted knight Sir Lancelot and their quest to rid the kingdom of the evil Morgana. We are thrilled to announce that our 2018 pantomime production will be … Camelot. Or to to give it its full title (which may be a bit long for the posters) The Magnificent Seven Knights Of Camelot.

Join our hero King Arthur, his trusted knight Lancelot and the powerful magician Merlin as they prepare to defend the kingdom of Camelot from the evil Morgana. Things don’t go as they should and Arthur has to recruit some ‘interesting’ heroes to help him in his quest. Continue reading 2018 – Destination is … Camelot.

Come Dine With Carl

I have just watched it and they were fantastic. Check it out and see how Carl responds to being called a Village Idiot, what he does to make his vegetables grow and hear some of his worst / best jokes, some of which might be used in next years panto script … or perhaps not.

Michael Fox, last seen on our stage this year as Captain Hook in Peter Pan is spending a day playing computer games.15994414_10158218805845121_1237764700847905971_o

That may not sound a tough task but he is doing it for 24 HOURS, non stop and is raising money for Cancer Research along the way.

It is also being streamed live so you can watch his progress – click here to watch – https://www.twitch.tv/slapdash_plays

On April 29th he’ll be gaming like a boss to help raise money and level-up Stand Up To Cancer’s life-saving research

It doesn’t matter what they’re playing so long as they’re playing! Suggestions are always welcome and they might even be able to get you guys joining in!

This epic research takes breakthroughs in the lab transforming them into treatments and cures like a cancer drug that acts as a ‘freeze ray’ and a way of making cancer cells self-destruct.

If you can’t sponsor that’s fine, spreading the word in this case would be wonderful and awareness for this cause is always needed.
