MEET THE CAST – ALICE FITZWARREN

rebecca dick2Hi, I’m Rebecca and  I play Alice Fitzwarren; Dick’s love interest. I’m very excited as Alys is my middle name.
This is my first year doing panto and I have never acted before so I am tad nervous. I decided to do the panto this year as a lovely lady thought I would be good and I wanted to show my children even though you are nervous about doing something new, you can achieve anything and step out side the box and give it a go.rebecca dick3

So far I have loved every minute of the rehearsals with the cast (my new friends) and even got a giggle from my ‘I love dick’ t-shirt

MEET THE CAST – THE PAPER BOY

robin-hood-50Hi I’m Dev and I’m 10 years old! I’m loud and energetic and just love being in the panto.

This is my 4th one. I have had small speaking parts from the start, usually demons and villagers! This year I’m the paperboy. My favourite part of the panto is doing something fun with my Dad

MEET THE CAST – SAMMY THE RAT

26230559_10160008982570121_1610872237031953523_nI’m Vonnie Ralphs, and I’m a staff nurse – so I guess I work in theatre and play in theatre!!

DIck Whittington is my 2nd show with Norton after many years away from the stage. I used to be in Norbury theatre group. A couple of years ago I had such a good time watching Norton’s Peter Pan I decided to get back into it.

I played Mordrid last year in Camelot (he was a bit of a stupid idiot!) And this year I’m playing one of King Rat’s henchmen, Sammy the Rat, who is also a bit stupid … hmmm … should I be offended??!!

Hope everyone enjoys this year’s show and has a good giggle at the fantastic script!

MEET THE CAST – DICK WHITTINGTON

Hey, my name is Rob Milner and I’m playing the role of Dick Whittington.
This is my 3rd year with Norton Theatre Group, having played a ‘beautiful’ Mermaid and a wannabe knight of Camelot. I have such fun just being silly on stage.
I used to do plays all the time when I was younger but being a father of 4 it had to take a back seat. However, now they’re getting a bit older my daughter Ebony wanted to join so we joined together.
The show is full of bad jokes so bad it makes them amazingly funny and hearing the reaction from the audience always makes me feel so chuffed.

A Knight to Remember.

Only 54 days until curtain up on Norton Theatre Group’s production of Camelot. Rehearsals are going fabulously well, and it looks like it’s going to be another hilarious production, partly due to the wonderfully funny script by our very own Chris Bennion, but mainly down to the hugely talented cast we have this year. We are so happy that many of cast members from previous years are returning along with a number new faces. We cannot wait to show you around Camelot. It’s such a silly place.
